How to enter

Who can enter?

A technologist may self-nominate or be nominated by someone else — radiologist, supervisor, or another technologist. The X-Ray Technologist Awards 2021 are open to all radiography technologists in the United States and Canada. Please make sure you have any and all permissions needed to enter the individual consent and/or use any material contained within the entry, including the person(s) mentioned in the nomination and any media submitted to support the entry. Please do not share any patient information in your entry. If you choose to include your institution/hospital name, please also ensure you have any and all permissions needed to enter the institution consent in your entry.

What is the entry format?

The entry, submitted online, via the ‘Enter now’ button (above or on the homepage), comprises a 140 word executive summary and three award category sections, including patient experience, clinical excellence and workflow improvement, with a maximum 500 words each. You may also upload supportive photos, images and videos to help illustrate the entry. You may choose to enter in 1 or multiple categories.

Who will see my entry?

All entries will be evaluated by GE Healthcare before being officially accepted. Once the entry has been approved, it will be featured on this X-Ray Technologists Awards website and ready for open voting as well as will be used in social posts and communications, regarding this awards program.

What do winners receive?

The selected three winners, one for each category, will be featured on this awards website, in an article and on social media. Each will also be invited to meet with GE Healthcare leadership and product designers to talk about the future of X-Ray, as a ‘behind the scenes look’ and chance to share your feedback and insights.
